Chapter – 307 – The legend
of Lord Krishna - 158
Maharishi Narada speaks “
Oh! Vasudeva, Oh! Mahabhaga, fortunate
one, that compassionate Lord was born as
your child, in this way he gave Dharshanam, Sparshanam, and he took great
pleasure in the association with you in partaking meals and sleep. Krishna is Sarvathman Eshwara who resides as a soul in living beings; he has taken birth as Mayamanushya, to reduce the burden
of Earth. Therefore, do not consider
Krishna as your son, or an ordinary human, he is supreme Lord, contemplate upon
him as Paramapurusha, he has incarnated on the earth to elevate the
souls.”
Shuka Bhramam speaks “ Oh!
Rajan, Thus, Devi Devaki and Vasudeva elevated their souls from the worldly
matters and bondage with the advice of Maharishi Narada. I shall earnestly pray to that supreme Lord
to shower his eternal grace upon us, and elevate our souls reading this great
scripture.”
An intellectual mind never
mourn over the past or brood over the present or get anxious about the future, it
will not regret of the past events which have no hold on it, and it will not get
excited on the turn on the events in the present or get worried over the things
yet to come in the future. It has the
ability to accept the past as the grace of the Lord and the present as the will of
the Lord. An emotional mind is restless,
anxious, and it has reservations about the life, most of the life events are
unpredictable, at these moments an emotional mind cannot take it in the right
spirit, either it gets disturbed or depressed.
The emotional mind is full of excitement about life events, matters, and people; it gets easily agitated by the turn of events. Finally, it grieves over past life events
and gets anxious about the future.
Therefore an emotional mind would put the individual in extreme fear and
anxieties; as a result, the unwanted thought overrules the mind and destroys its
serenity.
